What is the need of Certification & Recognition of a Yoga Professional ?

Because of world wide increase of interest and immense positive results of doing Yoga,  there is a high demand of Yoga Professional.
You can be a very skilled yoga practioner, you have in depth knowledge of Ayurveda & Yoga, you have been practicing yoga for sevral years, but today competetive world need a attestation and recognition of you knowledge and skills.
So the Ministry of AYUSH, Govt. of India established Yoga
Certification Board for certification of Yoga professionals to bring synergy, quality and uniformity in knowledge and skills.

This is a unique, government approved yoga teachers training program.

The International Ayurveda and Yoga Institute is accredited with the Ministry of AYUSH (Ayurveda and Yoga), Yoga Certification Board. Has official status to conduct yoga courses and exams. Certificate Number :УСВ / 20 / УС / 000032 dated 08.10.2021

Level 1 Yoga Volunteer

Theory: 20 Hours, Practical: 30 Hours, Total: 50 Hours

Brief Role Description: For promotion of well-being of oneself and society at large; assist in conducting group classes for Yoga Volunteer, Yoga classes in the park, Yoga related IDY programs. Can conduct Yoga Break protocol in work places.

Level 2 Yoga Protocol Instructor 

Certified Yoga Professional

Theory: 60 Hours, Practical: 140 Hours, Total: 200 Hours

Brief Role Description: Certified Yoga Professional (Yoga Protocol Instructor) can teach basics of Yoga / common Yoga protocol developed by the Ministry of AYUSH for International Day of Yoga for prevention of diseases and promotion of health. They can conduct Yoga practice /classes in parks, societies, RWA etc.

Level 3 Yoga Wellness Instructor

Certified Yoga Professional

Theory: 120 Hours, Practical: 280 Hours, Total: 400 Hours

Brief Role Description: Certified Yoga Professional (Yoga Wellness Instructor) to teach Yoga for prevention of illness and promotion of wellness in schools, Yoga studios, work places, Yoga wellness centers / Primary Health care centers etc

Level 4 Assistant Yoga Therapist

Certified Yoga Professional

Theory: 120 Hours, Practical: 280 Hours, Total: 400 Hours

Brief Role Description: Can work under supervision of certified physician or certified Yoga Therapist & Yoga Consultant on specific health disorders.

Level 5 Yoga Therapist

Certified Yoga Professional

Theory: 400 Hours, Practical: 400 Hours, Total: 800 Hours

Brief Role Description: Can work along with certified physician or certified Yoga Consultant to give Yoga Therapy on all disorders
